The Association,
constituted in 1995, has the intent to contribute to the growth and to
increase the value of the operations of the "Museo Storico Nazionale di
Artiglieria" (Historical National Museum of Artillery), with headquarters
in Turin (Italy). In particular the Association has the purpose to:
- support the work of the Museum for the research and acquisition of weapons,
documents and publications;
- take part in cataloguing and computerization of the exhibits existing
in the Museum;
- collaborate with in the organization of exhibitions and demonstrations
promoted by the Museum;
- promote studies and research regarding history and evolution of the
art of war;
- organize tours, meetings and conferences on the above-mentioned subjects.
